It's OK, you don't need x-term for it to work and it patches a few things. It is NOT stable release, meaning it hasn't been installed enough times without issues to be deemed polished, but it's not full of holes, either.
There's always a risk. It varies from it-will-set-your-house-on-fire (early alpha) to works-for-me (alpha) to works-for-me-does-it-work-for-you (beta) to works-for-a-lot-of-people-is-there-anyone-left (late beta) and to works-for-everyone (Final).
CSSU is now in late beta. However, each release brings new stuff, so it's late beta for older features, early beta for new ones.
For example, some people have random pictures not being taken, say one in 20 (says one report). Also, it seems selecting is gone in emails (need to press forward and copy from there).
Can you live with that?
Great answer, thanks. If I install it and I want to go back, does a simple 'uninstall' do this or does it require a reflash? Just wondering in case things go awry. I think I'm jinxed with tech stuff..
Also, without going through 378 pages of this thread, is there a link to a page that states what the CSSU actually does/changes? I understand portrait mode is a biggie, but what else? Thanks in advance.
I was using the build-in MfE for contacts and calendar of gmail, and had it working great for a long time (1+ year), now it stopped working in that it immediately claims there is an error.
The only thing I did was update CSSU from the previous to the current version. Or maybe Google changed something?
Any other latest CSSU user using MfE with Google? Working or not?
i have been facing a problem since yesterday about wifi after a reboot.... it's just not working.... can anyone please help me out here???

I think I faced this bug yesterday! I cannot remember when exactly it occurred, because I'm always connected to 3g, but maybe it was triggered by offline mode/tablet mode switching I did during the night.
A reboot fixed the issue, but I will try to keep an eye on this...
Hi y'all. I have the latest CSSU installed but when going to Manage Views, it only allows me to choose 4 desktops. It does not scroll left or right to show the other 5 desktops. I don't have Theme Customizer or CSSU features tuner. On the prior CSSU version, it allows me to have 9 desktops but when I updated to the latest release, its gone. Help? Thanks!
