In my experience wiping it with your jeans, if you wear them, cleans the screen very good. Pure thick cotton is very good voor cleaning glasses too.
In my experience, wiping screens is the best way to scratch them. I just don't think fatty fingers is the right device for applying commands to a cell phone glass. If you get a call while eating delicious chicken - YUM - how do you answer it? With applying a thick layer of grease, is how The N900 had an grease free alternative, and I think it's a bad thing that this alternative is being removed.
Also, it's mid summer now, so I keep forgetting, but I really, really don't look forward to stylus free, gloves removing phone usage in -15 degrees. That's a flawed input concept, that is.
well capacitive screens without a stylus sucks for cold winters but if the rumours about the haptic screen overlay are true it is apparantly highly resistant to dirt, oil and fingermarks........
480 x 1024 on the consumer device will certainly make for a comfortabe landscape vkb

now I'm not saying this is gospel, however we did see the gw990 sporting this screen resolution, albeit at 4.8 inches and other companies, like Acer are starting to use this format on smartphone/tablets too.
Certianly a great resolution for watchiing media on and since this is a speculation thread, I'm trying to do my bit to get that post count to 5000!

One guy is saying he's getting 5000 quadrant score with flashing trinity kernel and latest Cyanogen nightly. Right now I'm getting about half that on stock froyo rom.

But yeah, there are some real "facts" posted here also. hehe. Well, I can say for sure that 2 devices we've seen so far (Dali in the teaser video and photos of Lankku) clearly showed that it doesn't have such cinema-wide screen ratio. So unless there is another device we haven't seen (which seem highly unlikely at this point), I'm afraid we can only wish that it's using the new 1280x720p LCD.
