Hi everyone,

I'm happy to announce Get Me Wheels. An application that helps you to find the fastest way to the next free car2go car.

Current verision is 0.2.0-1. You can grab it from the extras-testing repository or here: http://maemo.org/packages/view/getmewheels/

If you're a tester, please test this application and vore for it.

car2go is currently available in Austin (Texas), Hamburg (Germany), Ulm (Germany) and Vancouver (Canada).

Disclaimer: GetMeWheels uses the car2go API but is not endorsed or certified by car2go. For further informations on car2go visit http://www.car2go.com.

Known issues: GetMeWheels uses libqtm-12-location. However, libqtm-12-location has a major performance issue in the final release (libqtm-12-tp1 is about 150 times faster). If you want full speed for GetMeWheels, downgrade libqtm-12-location to the technology preview. Keep in mind that the downgraded introduces a painting bug in the routing code. We hope libqtm 1.2.1 will be fast again to bring you the full GetMeWheels experience.
