i just replaced /opt/maemo/usr/lib/purple-2/liboscar.so.0.0.0 with your version and icq is back up and working!

i noticed a size difference (227 kb orig/184kb yours) do you know where this comes from?

Could please you try to reboot and test it again?

Could you please also check settings of our ICQ account? In XTerminal enter:

    mc-tool list

to get your account name then:

    mc-tool show haze/icq/_3xxxxxxxxx0

and post output here. If you don't have mc-tool, please install package libmissioncontrol-utils

That package was compiled by me on my PC using Maemo 5 SDK

EDIT: If it will be working also for someone else, I will contact our maemo package maintainer to temporary include my fix, till it will be officially fixed in upstream.

Just download the file and install it via dpkg - i [FILENAME]

Lets say you copy the file to the "root" of your N900 (when its connected via USB)

    open XTerminal

    type "cd MyDocs"
    type "dpkg -i [FILENAME] "

    that should work
