    How about creating a dialogue box for you to type in instead?

    Enter this into notepad

    Code:
    Dim msg, sapi
    msg=InputBox( "Enter your text","Talk it")
    Set sapi=CreateObject( "sapi.spvoice" )
    sapi.Speak msg
    Then save as "talk.vbs" or something. It will create a nifty dialogue box for you to type in, hit ok
