yeah well i guess so, i noticed it seemed a bit laggy so i ran powertop and total wakeups had increased, i disabled it and wakeups dropped.
Edit: saying all that i've just turned smartreflex off increased mhz to 950 and enabled hwsync and my wakeups are still as low as before??
back to the thread, i removed the old script using the removal methods and re-installed the script and it feels a lot better now very smooth and appears to have no lag. it's a must have script
after a brief 100% cpu load and 199mb ram usage, my hildon-desktop did not crash even after boot! maybe the updated CSSU already obliterated this issue

Maybe it was a hildon-desktop bug or something but it shouldn't make desktop more laggy as it uses extra hw to accelerate the desktop.
And for people having problem with HWsync (Hardware problem)
Disable it cause (Hwsync) doesn't work on all N900s
but IT WORKS ON 75/100 of them
anyway for people having reboot loops after enabling hwsync
try to disable self-guard using R&D mode (so n900 won't reboot)
but crashes may happen
so disable HwSync if having troubles with it
