Elop said Meego device this year.

if this isnt true meego (and therefore cant be branded as it) then maybe both n9 and n950 announced and released dates set (quick release) tommorow.

then in september a true meego device using nokias own meego ux (with the wierd name) someone mentioned a few pages back?

either way im really excited and all the hype in this thread has got me over the HWKB issue

Hi guys,

This is what I heard of Nokia's "Ilmatar" codename. I trust the source but of course can't be 100 % sure.

Ilmatar was supposed to be launched after Nokia's Harmattan device. Apparently Ilmatar was based on Intel hardware and running official MeeGo. This product is now canned.

BTW, I'll be joining Nokia's event in Finland HQ tomorrow and posting real time updates to my twitter account. Hopefully some hands on as well: http://twitter.com/sampsa_kurri

it's funny that it is possible to know a lot about the devices but nearly nothing about the release plans... ^^

I've seen ilmatar mentioned to be running on both IA and ARM boards so I still stand by its software name not a codename for a device
