I hope the people that are writing these post about a developer phone have some kind of developer skills otherwise you will never own the Dali. Quit talking about it. You can't be happy with Haptikos? Its been talked about in the forums several times and we always hear good on it. Dali people atleast shut the **** up until tomorrow so you can hear your phone was scratched and you'll never own it, then get with us willing to make the best of our new tech.
ever thought about talking some chill out classes?

Wasn't it just said that it's the Dali will be announced in several hours, and Lankku only close to September? Sounds pretty confusing, if they'll announce Dali just to point out that it's scratched and everyone who wants it should just get lost.

I think we will have. Apps are going to be developed in Qt, so they can be released for both phones at the same time.

Have you seen the EXOPC Slate MeeGo dev devices from Intel? I think more than half the back is stickers.

Jumping on in the epic thread.

Isn't it clear that Dali got canned because they couldn't release it in time and HW just got old. Pretty surely KB version is coming at some point though. Personally I'd like a thinner device without KB, I don't write much.

a few thousands or ten thousands are not much... nokia has to sell millions of devices to keep maemo/meego alive...

when i say "the big audience", i mean the (i like to say) american idol watching mass of people all around the world...

the feedback of the dev device was good when the teaser was leaked (i liked it too) but i (as a non-geek consumer) prefer a device what is meant to be used via touch... why? not only because its slim. my main reason why i dont want a hwkb is because if you dont have one, the developers have to make every function possible via touch...

e.g. my n900 has german layout... and the arrow buttons for up/down are the same like left/right... and so its impossible for me to play some games because they use the english layout arrows... and that causes problems...

I'm not disagreeing with you that the consumer unit is keyboardless, but there is a demand for a keyboard version .. Nokia needs to listen to that ..
sure.. and they will listen... but not listen to us, only listen to the sales... if N9 sales well, we could see a device with keyboard next summer... possibly...

The Dali is for a limited number of people with certain skills to help push the platform. Not for people that just like phones made by Nokia.
