UPDATE

The new version support applications that are saved in /home/user/.local/share/applications/hildon (e.g. WebOS Apps). A bug was fixed: catorise is now reloading after installing new application. The double items in the desktop shortcuts are now removed.

I found a bug caused by using this fix for WebOs games which caused applications showing twice in catorise in different categories. Maybe you should check if ~/.local/share/applications/hildon is a symlink? I Managed to revert back with this fix.

And a request for the gui: Can you add an option for applications to be shown in main menu? Thanks!

Update
This version has two bugfixes. The first removed duplicate entries, who cames from /home/user/.local/share/applications/hildon (if this is a symbolic link), the second fix the save with "other"-category.
Aaaaaand! A new feature was include: Now, you can place application in the main-window (without category).

Available in maemo-devel.
