    I am building an SMS & Call Blocker. How many of you would want an app like this?

    I was not thinking about caller ring tones. The functionality is more like an answering machine, that selects the message played to the caller depending on his callerid. So for example my friend would get a message "hey meet me later usual time in our favourite place for coffee grande" while everybody else would get the "I am too busy right now to answer. leave me a message or try again much later."

    Anyway, just a thought.

    I would really like that kind of application as I'm frustrated to be disturbed by useless SMS selling magazines or offering date servicess while listening to Spotify

    @jigzy That's why I am doing this

    @yellowjacket I will definitely keep this in mind for future versions

    Hi Power, I just want to make it clear that when I was asking for the ability to reject unknown/withheld numbers, I meant calls where there is no number shown on the phone, not numbers which do show, but I don't know who they are (yet).

    for your consideration, the best sms/call blocker i've ever used is MCleaner, it's available for Symbian, Android, iPhone

    if you're at lost when thinking of what features should you put, just look at that apps. the only drawback from that apps is no pattern matching (incl predefined pattern ie. number containing letters, number less than 'n' digits, etc)
    and instead of blacklist and whitelist, there should be another profile that is "silent". blacklist will ignore the sms/call entirely, remove it from inbox and log, but save a backup internally. while silent only prevent the tone from playing, stop the led notification, silently reject the call but anytime you open the phone, you can still see unread message/missed calls (yes this can be achieved by using silent profile, but it can't reject calls nor stop led)

    btw when will you release a preview/alpha/beta build?
