    Sorry sorry - we just had a reshuffle at home.
    I've been trying to get audio to stream for 3 hours now but to no avail. I'm prepared to go on all night, but I'm also more than willing to just release the update without audio streaming (it's a pretty minor feature).

    Anybody mind if I do this?
    I can then just reimplement it in a later update...

    Okay, well I've uploaded the new update with audio disabled. I've just received confirmation that it's been successfully built, however I don't see it anywhere on the repo's....
    ...can someone confirm this?

    Meanwhile I'm gonna edit the frontpage with the new info.

    I'm not sure if this is possible or if it's already asked before, but its possible to stream the hole screen view of the phone? like a wireless TV-out?

    Hmm I know what you mean but my app doesn't do that. What you're talking about sounds more like vnc
    Do: sudo apt-get x11vnc
    then run x11vnc on your phone, then access your phone from the PC using a vnc program like TightVNC.

    Hope this helps

    After update (on windows)...

    On N900:
    IP: MY_DESKTOP_IP
    Port: 9000
    Type: Video
    to: VLC
    Camera: Front
    Size: 320x240
    -> Stream!
    Button label: Stop Stream!
    Indicator is red.

    On VLC (windows PC):
    Media -> Open Network Stream -> http://:9000 -> Play
    ----> Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://:9000'.
    Media -> Open Network Stream -> http://N900IP:9000 -> Play
    ----> Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://N900IP:9000'.

    What's wrong?

    That's really strange, it seems to be working with your settings on my PC.

    I'm a bit worried by the message you get when Streaming.
    I get "Type in http://192.168.2.101:9000" (where 192.168.2.101 is my Phone's ip).
    You seem to be just getting "Type in http://:9000", am I correct here?

    Also, in the address bar on the app, are you using numbers or are using hostnames? Hostnames don't seem to work for me.

    When I tried recording to local file, the file can't be played. Video codec is shown as JPG/MJPG, so maybe there's something wrong here.

    Again, strange. The video codec is correct - it uses mjpeg encoding - but it should be contained in .avi file.
    Can you confirm that your recorded local file is .avi file?

    Also are you able to play the file in any other player (mplayer, Kmplayer, etc)?

    Try installing Extra Decoders Support for the media player and see if the problem still persists:
    (sudo apt-get install decoders-support).

    Please let me know if this works, because then it means I need to add decoder-support to my dependencies.
