This... I just honestly do not remember it. When the 360 Arcade (sans hard drive) came up, the Wii was already at 160, I thought. Don't mind admitting I missed it.
As usual, the assumptions accompanying the choices are a crock. I answered yes, but I'm not hoping Elop has a change of heart. Heart attack would be closer.
Faster processors do not mean it uses more battery. In recent times, it is actually the opposite. Older slower CPUs use more power/battery than the newer faster more efficient CPUs. (eg. Current dual/quad core CPUs use less power than older single core CPUs) Faster processor doesn't just mean lazier programmers. So you are saying all the new programmers are more lazy now compared to few years ago?
First part is right. Newer and faster are more effiencient, cause they are manufactured with a better process and the cpu gets faster to sleep because it can do all things much faster.
But almost all new programmers indeed are (at first) lazy, cause of the new superfriggin fast machines.

I know, right ? 6 in depth options !? What ever happened to the good ol' Y or N days ?

I wonder if the micro usb port will still fall off
Doubt it. My N900 is still as good as new btw since 2009.
Also, my N8, E7, X3-02 all have even more solid microusb ports.
So I expect N9 to be just as well made/soldered.
