Help, how to make a Picodrive worked usb gamepad? Gamepad recognized in / dev / input / js0 appears in the emulator, but the keys are not configurable. I tried to reassign the button gamepad with joy2key but it is not working. sorry for bad English.

This might be a long shot on this, but have you tried Xbindkeys?
Install and then in Xterm:
xbindkeys -k
Press something on your D-Pad thingy and see if it shows a value that you can enter for Picodrive so it can be mapped correctly.
I hope I'm not wasting your time on this idea.

i use xjoypad to change joypad buttons to keypresses. It can't be configured either but it works. Outputs characters in xterm etc fine and are recognized by mupen64.

Also a wireless ps3 controller works using sixaxis also read this thread.

I am back Xboxing again - and here is what i did to correct it -
***UPDATE*** now 47 months on and x-clamp fix has just failed....not a bad run
