QtWeather is a weather application for our US users. I originally developed it as part of a school project, but now I'm looking for some more user experience to keep on improving it! I actually do use it on a day to day basis for the weather graphs that are available, thanks to the National Weather Service in the United States, and I look forward to hearing suggestions on how to make the application more relevant to as many users daily lives as possible.
The first thing on my todo list for the application is adding a daemon that prefetches the xml files each day at 4 am (when the server updates them) so that you can just open up the app and not worry about having to download anything for your saved zipcodes.
I just downloaded qtweather earlier and when i open the app, i get a blank black screen... do i have a conflicting package or am i missing anything for the app?
QtWeather+ is just a rewrite using QML, the difference is in the interface. I still support each one fully so you can choose whichever you prefer. QtWeather+ doesn't have portrait support (yet) so that may be a factor. They're both stable though.
lol I didn't expect these comments actually, I just happened to check the thread. I'm guessing it's because new versions are being pushed to extras.

If this were QtWeather+ I would ask if mcsp was installed, but the dependencies are definitely right for the plain Qt version. As phase315 suggested, make sure your connection is working.
