Thanks for this guide.
It works perfect for me.

Meego summer edition 2011-07-01.1 works almost smooth from my MicroSD Class10 Card.

The power consumption seems to be better than on older releases.

Very good sound quality on phone calls.
I'm really impressed.

Thank you verrryyy much.

this is probably possble but I'm not a lunux geek my triple boot was made with instructions from TMO. I just made a reflash, installed cssu, then nitdroid on eMMC with the wiki guide, and the compiled a stock kernel with uboot from a guide which I found also on TMO. I added power kernel as written in the nitdroid wiki. I wen't ok and as I'm not a linux expert I think that everyone can do it

OK. This is written on n900 with natively installed meego on the emmc and using the webkit browser.

First i have to say there is some oddball with caps. Then I have the E6 as everyday phone. It is great. got everything and more, and the HW is not made in china or taiwan or hong kong, it is made in Finland. it is superb. software wise it is extremely functional, but there is room for improvements in some aspects.

MeeGo on the N900 is actually working and usable. great work. slow and buggy and lots of inconsistencies, but it actually work. It looks and smells android. more like a rip off, but who cares.

Just downloaded latest version. I have been following this for a looong while now. Sorry to be blunt but this new Meego N900 CE version from 2011/07 is what excatly? Its slow, not responsive, the old Maemo 5 is better and more responsive.
Forgive me here, I have followed the threads for over an 18month slog but I can't help feel its change for change sake.
Can someone with more expertise tell me why I'm downloading to my micro card and uploading this new version and not really feeling the love?
I want it to be cool but honestly all the times I select any of the icons some crap happens.
Make me love this OS as I love the N900? Yes its a dev version etc etc but the people on here are capable of loading it why is it so, well, not so good?
Confused
