    copy conky.conf to your MyDocs folder (/home/user/MyDocs/)
    edit it: replace ${battery_short} with ${execi 10 hal-device bme |awk -F"[. ]" '$5 == "is_charging" {chrg = $7}; $5 == "percentage" {perc = $7} END if (chrg == "false") {print perc "%"} else {print "Chg"}'}

    enjoy your decreased battery life and non-updating percentage.

    just focus on the cpu usage of Conky. it should use extra every 10 seconds as it opens a command prompt to check the battery level. try with and without that change.

    just installed it. i prefer this accurate battery and temperature reading than the previous .conf that I was using.

    It's currently running at a consistent 8-10%CPU and 2+% of memory....

    so that's quite a lot of running CPU.. but I'll see how it is throughout the day

    I recently tried to get this working on the N9 / N950 but am now stuck because it seems impossible to get double buffering to work as the "dbe" module is missing from X11. I think we will find a solution but cannot guarantee it. Flickering conky is still better than no conky, so if anyone wants to try it, here's a link: http://www.appcheck.net/storage/headache.zip
    DONT install that on an n900, it's got enough changes made to it that it won't work.
    DO dpkg -i all 3 debs from the command line, conky last, and if it has any other missing stuff you can probably apt-get install them.

    Hi!
    I need help.
    I just updated my kernel to version 48 and my conky doesn't show the battery temperature anymore.
    What can I do?
    Thanks.
