I have waited for a long time, but anything has been changed by nitdroid, what's happened?

The location and temperature are also working on the flipclock, a small moon icon also appears but I'm not connected to the internet on my N900, a nice cloud and sun-glow-like animation also starts once unlocking the phone.

Great stuff...is that the actual genuine HTC Sense launcher or a sudo using LauncherPro or something? If it's the genuine HTC Sense launcher, I'd love to know how you managed to port it to nit!

Hey fellas, a couple of questions before I try nitdroid:

-Do I need to buy a microsd card to use nitdroid?
-Can you call and connect to the internet?
-Will all my data be lost (so do I have to backup everything)
-Is there anything I should be aware of before I install?

These questions have already been answered in this thread (except maybe the first one). But I will summarize:

-You do not need a microsd card, you can install it on the emmc instead.
-You can connect to the internet. Calls are a work in progress.
-Your data shouldn't be lost. However, if you mess up the install, you might need to reflash, which would destroy your data. Always back up whether you need to or not!
-Be aware that this is still very experimental and you will likely encounter some bugs. Don't install Nitdroid unless you can deal with such.

Thanks a lot for your time.

Final question to be sure. These are the steps I have to follow, right?
- enable Extras-devel
- sudo gainroot
- rootapt-get install nitdroid-installer
- download and install http://downloads.nitdroid.com/nitins....2.7_armel.deb
- enter 'nitdroid'


Would that do the job for me?

Are people supposed to smell you put 2 different wiki's on your post?

And not even your real wiki answers all my questions, how about reading all the questions before you try to be a smartass? With hot headed people like you ruining people's will to do something, I don't even want it anymore.

I get its free and all, but you still have to respect people. instead of beeing some mr smartass the whole time

How come everybody sees only one link to one WIKI? What are you talking about?!

No it asnwers them all, I can just fill you with links and caches from the WIKI with the answers till tomorrow. Even if it doesn't, how about using the search function located up there? You know people didn't just build that for fun. This is just stupid, I'm not going to argue anymore.
