As for .cap name issue, I confirm it. It worked before update to 0.42, now ssid isn't included.
Will release an interim update later today or tomorrow that will bring back saving for APs without spaces with proper AP name with some minor ui fixes I have been working on.

If i understand correctly, names will work for AP's without spaces, but AP with spaces will work too, just without name in .caps, right?
Otherwise, I would rather like to retain ability to crack AP's with spaces via fAircrack - .caps without names are much smaller scale problem

Latest promised update to fix some issues with 0.42 is attached below. This update has a major overhaul of the ui and fixes issues with the APs with spaces thingy:
1) Major overhaul of ui (FAS.py), give me some feed-back on this redesign (like / don't like); I like it since it is more harmonized with the N900 theme (ie. lock screen key input etc.).
2) APs with spaces and apostrophes can now be captured and decrypted. Added three new scripts (wepcaplist.sh, wpacaplist.sh and keylist.sh) to implement this change.
Todo: Deleting keys, caps etc. from APs with spaces does not work yet, since it requires a different fix to enabling the capture and decryption fixed above.
Install version 0.3 from post no 1. in this thread (or just apply to any other working version), then apply my update. As per usual, make a back-up copy of the files to be replaced (Main.py, FAS.py, getinfo.sh, scan.sh, getmacmanaged.sh, getmacmonitor.sh), copy the archive to the FAS directory on your N900 and extract with-in xterm in the FAS directory:
tar -xzvf faircrack0.43.tar.gz
