Portrait works smoothly and well for me, with one problem:

I use multiple editions of homescreen-dockbar, and none of them remember their set positions. I can move them, click out of the setup mode, and they will all move. All other widgets or shortcuts remain where they are put.

When reverting back to landscape, I have the same problem - all instances of homescreen-dockbar have moved, and can not be placed at will.

now i will use my device in portrait, it was pointless to try before, you had to turn it to use homescreen.. rotation is awesome too! it stays in landscape or portrait when you lay it flat..

Finally managed to get this installed
Works very well, great job done.
Even the orientation lock works! It stays in portrait mode,
But only the text looks silly now. LANDSCAPE ORIENTATION LOCKED, maby we should change this to ORIENTATION LOCKED
Anybody knows where this text is stored?

Thanks anyway for this great job!

From the comments on here it looks amazing. Great job guys!

Really want to try it but just wanted to check first what gets changed by the deb file, and if if we need to back anything up manually beforehand (in case we need to revert back)?

It makes EVERY application stay in portrait when laid down flat!

that's definitely a +1
