    I'll pass the the word on to my iphone owning chums!

    I've also tried X construct but WOW, Am I crap at that!

    The later levels also take me forever to build.

    Not really. I think I remember reading that there are a few devices with the HARDWARE to do so, but there's no software support for it. Check this article out too: http://www.brighthub.com/mobile/goog...les/98672.aspx

    I think the mentality is that most new cars come with bluetooth streaming support, you can install bluetooth streaming support on even the oldest cars with a cheap add-on in the vehicle, and it sounds better and carries far more information than just audio. So, they think... why bother with FM transmitting anymore? Hell, I drive my 1974 VW Beetle around in the bright summer, rocking along to Three Dog Night's Shambala off of a bluetooth speaker setup... I REEEEALLY don't care about FM transmitters (especially since the built-in radio is AM-only anyway... heheh).

    Anyway, getting back to the point of your question... You CAN get an external FM transmitter for $5 these days, if you really want one. (I have one of those, too.. but haven't used it for years.)

    I find that I use the FM transmitter a lot when going on holiday (renting cars) or when I'm in somebody elses car. It just seems so strange to not include it in newer phones, it's not exactly expensive or space consuming, and whats even stranger is to include it but not have the software side of things sorted out.

    it says root is required. the problem is that it's not possible as softbank locks the software of their phones.

    i'm just thinking if which one of these is the market checking the firmware, sim card, or even the location of ip you're using to determine w/c market you can access?

    Might be the sim card. Market enabler says it changes "gsm.sim.operator.numeric".

    Source code is in market-enabler.googlecode.com.
    Looking at the source (I am no java coder though), the key limes seem:
    Code:
     "setprop gsm.sim.operator.numeric " + code, "killall com.android.vending", "rm -rf /data/data/com.android.vending/cache/*" };
