    inspired by:
    http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=74870&page

Deskypplet is a desktop widget for browsing files and folder. Main intention is not to be a File Manager (although it can be used as one). Lots of configuration options, per folder visual settings, fast build in picture viewer, autoplay mp3 folders.desktop file support, script support (similar to nautilus scripts)...
    See help for details

Could have rotation related issues after install. home.safe-set should be prepared.
Accessing /dev with deskypplet leads to a crash !

    some screenshots...

In the old thread i gave the adress to some codesnippets in python.
One of them did a call to GTK to get the system-icons for the filetype.
    https://vcs.maemo.org/svn/pymaemo/ww..._mime_icons.py
    (However, that program couldnt run)

But at http://developer.gnome.org/ i found some other maybe more useful functions like gtk.icontheme.load.icon()
    http://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stab...heme-load-icon

    OK
I still don't know the names of the icons/ I don't know how to add an icon automatically to a mime type (or how to get this).

i am at work now so i cant search so much, sorry...
But the function is used in the pythonscript i linked so check the functionnames used in that script, they should provide the functionality we need.
