background :

Font :
download the font from here http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free.../t/Tabitha.ttf and copy it to /usr/share/fonts/
but if you dont want to download this font you must remove it's name from .ini file

I remove email notification , and notifications appear only in portrait mode

Yes you can add image in your config file:

Widgets\16\Name="Image.MyBackgroundImage"

[MyBackgroundImage]
Image=pathtoyourimage.png
PosL="10;10"
PosP="10;10"

I use it for show ywtemp.png: YahooWeather on my own lockscreen

going to try this lockscreen, tried one before and it had a impact on my mem and cpu hopefully this will be lighter
