My girlfriend wants some of my notification sounds on my N900 for her N8. Specifically, the ogg sounds for emails and some of the other new message sounds. Can the N8 even play these sounds? Thanks

Two questions, right?
First one: The files should be located in a folder called Audio clips.

Apperantly there is a possibility to play ogg files on an N8. Not sure if this would work for your GF, though.

aren't you searching for the _stock_ sound files on the n900? i think the stock ones are not ogg but .aac and .wav which should work on the n8 without tweaks (not sure though). are the files you are searching for in here? -> "/usr/share/sounds"
