New N900 user here, hi.

I can't send or receive SMS - I am not getting any incoming, and the outgoing are saved in Conversations, but never actually go anywhere. No errors reported. Default settings. Phone works ok. I am on AT&T, SMS worked fine with my flip Nokia before this.

Please help. Searched forums, didn't find the same problem, just variations of it with different symptoms than mine.

Yes, the card worked perfectly in my regular flip Nokia, and I can send and receive calls on N900. Just no SMS.

BUMP - I have the same issue. I could call and received call. Internet etc but can't text. The area where the 2G/3G signal is showing a picture look to be a sim card.

Kind of suck since I had waited this long for Meego. Only 2 months or so.. Anyone have any suggestion? tried doing backup. taking sim card out. Restart. I have yet to hard reset.

Thx

It's the phone setting. Once I flash it, I could text again. Just flash no need for emmc
