leafpad /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini
Under the rotation values, decrease the angle to like, 25 ctrl+s to save, then killall hildon-desktop or reboot.
I personally am using rotation around z (CSSU) angle 25 and OC'ed to 1GHz, rotation is really ultra smooth, even with the heaviest apps e.g. Sygic
The N900 has been my first touch screen phone that i've owned, but i have played around with 2g & 3g iphones, blackberry torch and LGs and nokia C6-00.
What i've noticed is that the rotation speed of the iphone and blackberry are much more responsive than the nokias. I'm not sure if this responsiveness has to do with fact that both iphone and blackberry are equipped with captive touch screens and the nokias with resistive, or is it all about transitions?
Can someone be so kind as to shed some light on the issue?
