    asphalt5 game sound problem

    i have installed asphalt5 game on my n900 its runing graet but the problem is that audio is not coming just trie to unistall and again install the game but problem remain same plz help me

    had the same problem with preenv 1.6

    updating to preenv 1.7 will solve the sound issue in asphalt 5

    to update preenv run xterm and type

    Code:
    sudo gainroot
    apt-get update
    apt-get install preenv

    You must first create "game save" folder. Basically use the WebOS game manager for the easiest way. But if you are the type who'd want to learn on how to do it manually then hit the link in my signature.

    Asphalt 5 Save Game Problem Solution:

    Enter the following commands in the X-terminal

    Code:
    sudo gainroot
    cd /home/opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/com.gameloft.app.asphalt5
    chmod 777 Asphalt5/data.sav

    guys i have installed latest preenv 0.1.7 but still have this audio problem when the game is running .Though at start it sounds great ..but soon after ( no sound )though car runs faster and smooth but with no audio..
    so is there any one who has same issue or is this me only?

    and one thing more,can i delete the ipk file in file manager ,as if i want to save space,do u think game still will run or . . ?
    help would be really appreciated ..

    i installed the deb version that worked fine with preenv 1.5
    but when i updated to 1.6 i lost ingame sound (but still have the sound in main menu)
    and when i updated go preenv 1.7 this problem was resolved

    where did you save ur ipk file?
    if its in "MyDocs" then i dont see a reason 27 Gb is available
    but if you saved it in "home" then just move it to "MyDocs"

    if you really need to save space in mydocs then its safe to remove it but you wont be able to re-install the game

    Sorry for Bombing the Thread now , but was looking for a solution to this problem since i have it on my n900 .. i found the solution on here and wanted to share it here in case someone is looking .
