It seems that there is a bug or something with the N900. My N810, with Skype logged in, had a standby battery life of days.
The N900 won't even last 6 hours on 3G with Skype or other accounts enabled. On wifi it does slightly better, maybe 18 hours or so.
Is there anything that can be done so it won't access the radio every millisecond, or whatever?

    Is, not can.
Once you disable everything, you will notice a big increase in battery life, where your phone won't drain by just sitting in your pocket.

I am glad that you are such an expert on google. Maybe you can also show us what the solution is, by using google?

So, if I understand you correctly, you're happy with the free plate of food you were just served, while you were waiting for an answer, but now you want to be spoon-fed too?

You want me to vacuum your living room as well and do the dishes?

I don't need replies from arrogant idiots. If you can provide an useful reply, then do so. Otherwise, please STFU.

    1. My machine runs fine. I don't feel like an idiot.
    2. Both my replies could have taught you something.
    3. If you think that asking for help and STFU'ing on the replies is going to get you more help from other people, please, continue...

    1. I am glad your machine works fine. But my question was not about your machine.
    2. What exactly should your replies teach? Did you give me any info helping solve my problem?
    3. If I ask a question, I would expect a useful reply, or at the very least something not demeaning. Telling me to 'google for an answer' that doesn't seem to exist is not helpful.
