Hello there.
Been a while since I posted anything here
I am currently trying to install android, considering I have a new 8GB SD card, and wanna give it a try. When added the extras to applications catalog, I get the following error.

"Unable to find expected entry user/binary-armel/Packages in Meta-index file (Malformed release file?)"

How do I fix this. Anyway to simple download the installation file and run it from command prompt or something, without all this headache?

Are you sure you added it exactly like in here:

I have added the extras and followed the installation instructions here:

However, when I put in:

"root
apt-get install nitdroid-installer"

I get, "Couldn't find package NITdroid installer"
What am I doing wrong?

extras or extra-devels? you need extra-devels.

Add Extra-devel
then use
# root
# apt-get update
# apt-get install nitdroid-installer

I think this will work

hello... i have a question...i already have the right repository to install nitdroid but still i get "couldn't find package nitdroid installer".... what am i missing?

Are you sure you wrote exactly "apt-get install nitdroid-installer". If yes run "apt-get update" and then copy-paste (or take a screenshot of) the full output of "apt-get install nitdroid-installer".
