HELLO EVERY ONE !!!
i have updated the Battery Patch
there should be no problems now

BUT I NEED SOME ONE TO TEST AND REPORT THAT NOTHING IS WRONG

because i have released this update but didn't check it on my N900 yet

i am sure of my info, i have to manually copy his settings with a notepad and changed the one been replaced by hildon portrait... im just saying it because i can recreate the problem... you cant be too sure because not all n900 is the same, even if its not happening to you doesnt mean its not happening to others.

edit the 6th line in the 'batterypatch-install.sh', from:

mv /home/user/custom-karam /home/.kernel/
into

@Karam...applied the patch...seeing notable improvement in the performance...Many thanks...I'll get back in case I see any issue or error.

@PEOPLE WHO HAVE APPLIED THE OLD BATTERY PATCH

enter this code before installing the battery patch:

rm /etc/dbus-scripts.d/dbus-scripts-settings
rm /home/user/.kernel/ideal
kernel-config load default
kernel-config default default
mv /usr/share/kernel-power-settings/ideal.ORIG /usr/share/kernel-power-settings/ideal
apt-get install --reinstall dbus-scripts

just enter it and reapply the battery patch
ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE APPLIED THE OLD VERSION OF BATTERY PATCH

i use hildon-portriat with my transitions.ini
i think your problem is using a notepad for editing it
after you edit any script with notepad (from windows)
the script corrupts
because notepad uses another kind of unicodes (or something else)

BTW what are the options you have replaced ?
if you want to edit the file use wordpad (on windows)
leafpad,nano,vi (on linuxx)

Ahem, notepad mangles carriage returns usually rendering config files as un-parsable.

DO NOT USE NOTEPAD!

Use Notepad++ or vim or ANYTHING!

the link for the batterypath-install.sh.txt is broken

thanks vi and karam, i didnt know that notepad(PC) changes config transitions.ini and make it unparsable, its just easier comparing them side by side to know whats the difference, cause i like how speedy my n900 with karams transitions.
