Did something change with Youtube? Last week, CuteTube worked for me just fine, now when I try to play videos, I get a blank screen for most videos. A few still play.

I'm suffering the same problem.. hoping cutetube hasn't been blocked!!

Basically, youtube did some changes, so marxian did some changes to both versions of cutetube.

The newest version of cutetube (on Extras-devel) is cutetube 0.9.11-3, and the newest version of cuteTube-QML (on Extras-testing) is qmltube 1.0.12
, both version as far i know resolve the problem.

Only just got into this app and I am very impressed. Very nice GUI, all fluid and pretty. Very good work my man

Is there anyway to display 'recommended videos' like I get on youtube homepage?

It can be done, although it only returns a maximum of eight videos. I'm only adding new features to the QML version now. Perhaps that is what you have installed. It can be confusing when there are threads for two versions of the same application. The thread for the QML version is at http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=71826

Cheers marxian, you are right though, its the QML version I've got.

Is it a feature you are thinking of implementing? I hope so, even though 8 isnt many its better than none lol. Also the recommended videos can lead to related videos and then its many more than 8.

Anyway, i'll head over to the other thread now and once again, many thanks for your work

Hi! Recently ALL my downloads failed. I have tried to change the settings by from 720p to 420x270 but still failed to work. Any suggestions? Thanks.
