Ive been using this app for a day now!
Its defo my new favorite Facebook program for the N900.
I hope more developers take this program as an example of how it should be done.
Ofcourse there are some flaws but its still 100 times better than most programs.
The Pros:
- Download, click and install (Massive +++ since most programs need terminal codes these days)
- Its fast
- Its easy/simple
- Portrait mode
- Nice UI ( great use-age of the sidebar)
The Cons:
- Some actions don't seem to respond or work at times.
Such, as denying an event, seeing a picture in fullscreen
- No push messages
- GPS stays on after closing

Does this REALLY need the qtquickcompat fix? If you replace "import QtQuick 1.x" at the start of your QML file with "import QT 4.7" like in this thread does the app still work? If so (and it worked with my app), you can remove this seperate step for installing it, and people who've kept their phones up-to-date as far as PR1.3 will be able to use it I think.

Well, yeah, that's just my lazyness with those files.
nope...its "via fMobi on Nokia" when posting on walls...
so it's not possible to get the via N900 then?
btw I have modRana installed and while loading the qtquickcompat and the libqtm-11...I was getting errors for modRana app...and no I don't want to remove that app, I use it a lot however the fmobi is running fine so far, and check-in works too...great app very fast and smooth.
