Ok guys any step by step instructions for my case would be greatley appreciated.
I currently have faircrack 0.3, which required the lxp drivers to be placed MyDocs directory, with the faircrack folder. If i want to install this, what should i do next (knowing that it would mess up my faircrack installation, but i am willing to do that).
Random Queries
1- This may sound a bit nooby, i havent updated my kernel for quite some time, if i want to update my kernel to power kernel 47, what should i do?
2- I have maemo community ssu, would it affect the installation procedure in any way?
3- If i update the kernel, would the lxp driver installation would get affected in any way?
4- Plus in faircrack after selecting a specific network, we had to click on monitor, followed by authentication, and then on start capture. What do we have to do with cleven?
Once again step by step instructions for installing this, in presence of faircrack,
Faircrack latest version is 0.45, using this gui is no different of faircrack but just the layout, nobody is answer to you because all q. where answered many times, read the full threats and install all dependecies if instaled properly nothing will be messed up, I have installed on my n900 and works with no problems
I can't find the path that I should verify it's existing..
It is something like \\usr\ .... \.cleven
How can I retrieve the path?

Well if you have an icon on the desktop that means the program exist and if you payed attention when you first run the ap id did give you the full path, I think is /home/user/.cleven , do a ls -a

Just simple question - why creating Cleven, instead of contributing to fAircrack? It is just "freedom of choice", or You think that fAircrack got some major things done wrong (if yes, can You elaborate on this more?), and You decided, that it'll be more productive, to start from scratch?
well finally i figured it out.... i was having the same problem... i would search for networks, it would say network serch finish and i won't be able to se any networks...
but then i remember when i last flashed my n900 i never updatded the reposotries.... so i went back and added the extradlevel and extra testing and one more... even though i had kernel-power installed on my n900 it was not the new one....
so the moment i aded those repsotires i inidieatly got a ton of updates... when i updated my kernel-power it started working just fine....
pretty stupid but u know i am a human... i forget some times....
so my sugestion would be try updating by adding reposotries in app manager....

Most important reason is that I wanted to try something different for the UI. I'm experimenting/learning the Qt components and Designer for some time now and wanted to try some new (for me) things.
Second, some times in development it is better to start from scratch. fAircrack uses too many hacks (e.g. to gain privileges or pass variable values between methods), that it is faster to rewrite it. (At least that was the case when I saw it last time, which was many versions ago.)
Third, I asked the developer when he was in the first versions if he wanted to join forces but he politely declined.
I'm experiencing problems with the built in RSS reader after installing Cleven. The RSS reader won't startup anymore. Just hangs with a black screen eating all CPU.
Anyone else having similar problems?
I uninstalled Cleven and aircrak-ng but it did not help.

This is unrelated to both Cleven and aircrack.
Delete the RSS database. One of your feeds is misbehaving. This is a known problem - check older threads and bugzilla for more info.
