Hi forum, I have a big problem with my phone. When the phone is on it dosnt recognize the charger, but when the phone is off it starts to charge, it recognizes the charger, and it dosnt stops when i unplugg the charger it also dosnt recognize the PC usb.

Also i installed about 10 programs from ovi and the download section, maybe some 3th party programs disrupted the OS of the phone.

How can i flash the phone from the phone and not from the PC because i cant connect it.

i hope i get some responses soon. i love my phone :$

seems like the BME is damaged. Or the usb port is generally damaged. How long have you had the phone?

Just buy an external charger and charge the battery from the wall. It is inexpensive and more convenient. I suspect your usb port is on the way out.

i have the exact same problem.
Started 2 weeks ago. Always starting to charge if the phone is off.
I cant flash because i dont get into flash mode, it just starts charging and turns on. if i take out the charger in maemo then the phone keeps charging. Led indicator and everything. The phone dosnt recognize pc. I think its a software issue because its seems to be working in nitdroid.

I havent installed any new apps but some updates.
Same problem with power kernel and stock kernel.

As far as I know Nokia Care can do it. I don't know of any other businesses that can take care of reflashing your device. They basically would need the right service tools.

I'm gooing to send mine to nokia care. I dont see much else to do at this point. Maybe uninstall all apps and hope that it goes away. My battery is really bad and it might be to bad to accept charge while in maemo but its a long shot.
