Dick I thought my n810 has an fm radio bc it even has the radio applet. I am not familiar with encoding and ripping and I appreciate all your help and would love any suggestions from you that you think are good apps.

This is going to be useless in regards to the original post, but you guys rock. I don't know if anyone's actually *tried* the search functionality but it's horrible. Not only that but for his question, he'd have to piece together multiple threads/wikis of varying experience level.
