I guess it is down to how you undress but seriously i think moderating should get tougher IN THE RIGHT AREA"S on here and from people with a long experiance of handling problems.
Hit it where it needs to be hit with the knowledge of and knowing in your heart you made the right decision for the right reasons.

It seems TMO is "idle" at the moment awaiting the release of the N9 and i see many comments are anything but direction related to the future on here.
Some members are that bored they have relegated themselves to attacking other members and even quoting things like "he does not bother me at all" but still feels the need to attack... weird !.
Council is kinda quiet obviously awaiting news that will give some kind of guidence for the future of TMO and in the meanwhile we got pointless threads like "my eyes only" popping up, weird things are happening on here right now.
Maemo is sinking faster than we realise so it is going to be interesting to see just what will happen with the Maemo.org name.
Maemo for the N9? i don't think so somehow, maybe the cssu dev member, or is there more than one? i don't know but it sure has slowed lately.
There is so much noise on this board now it is becoming difficullt to find info.
There's been a noticable increase in posters not bothering to search before they post, invariably asking a question that has been replied to multiple times before.
This is bad enough but now they are also posting the same question in multiple threads that have nothing to do with what they are asking!!.
I've even been PM'd by someone asking me a question they've posted in this way

Dont be sorry because this is a rant thread and your welcome to say anything you want !.
Maybe because most of the best have left this forum and moved on to other mobiles or another life .
But seriously i don't think many people realise that the POWER SEARCH top of the list on the right of this screen gives great results when your looking for something inparticular or an answer to a problem !... try it and see .
I really do think the time has now come to stop arguing among ourselves and start thinking seriously about the direction Maemo.org could take, otherwise it is going to be a case of shutdown completely and that means THIS community dont exsist no more !!!.
I think you need to broaden your scope to include all of maemo.org rather than just talk.maemo.org AKA Internet Tablet Talk. I'm somewhat confused why you think the community is strictly oriented around this forum.
