I worry that the N9 will go the path of Duke Nukem Forever.
The concept is grand, the rumors are awesome.. But the delay is significant... So by the time the product actually ships, people will already be somewhat bored with it.

So Elop wants Nokia to ultimately become a hardware-only OEM in the high-end.
It hasn't got a chance against the likes of Samsung etc...

Samsung's released so may damn flavors & bumps of SII now it's not funny.
Nokia's trump card, it's greatest single point of differentiation, was that it could actually do good software.
It just couldn't deliver in a timely manner.....
Because there was a ridiculous internal battle raging between Symbian/variants, & Maemo.

The problem for N9 is the lack of marketing and the fact that Nokia not is "sexy" like apple and samsung. To some extend theres also a question about apps - will they fulfill your needs? )0% of the times, yes but if want the newest and biggest games a whatever.

If listing of models on the country website is any indication about availability, it appears that N9 wont be coming even to India. Belle based 600, 700 & 701 are already listed in the 'upcoming' section while N9 is not.
