[Pre-Release] Java OpenGL for the N900 - maemo.org

I've built the JOGL library (Based on 1.1.1 git0) for the N900 and it should run java OpenGL applications.

I've uploaded it to http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LGPS2LBO until maybe it gets accepted in the extras-devel repository.

It will install the jars and native libraries to /opt/libs/jogl/...

Feel free to contact me if you're interested in developing something and have substantial java experience.

As for actually running java opengl applications of your choice, sorry I can't help you with that, this is for people that know what JOGL is or would like to develop using it.

Not _all_ java OpenGL applications but I'm sure one can find many that do.

For example, some might need a higher resolution than what's available in the windowed or fullscreen area.

Works on my N900 when installing with: dpkg -i package.deb

icedtea can't run OpenGL applications by its-self.

it gives an error ,dude .i hope some one else can confirm it as well
i used this command : dpkg -i jogl-1.1.1-git0.deb
lemme know where i am mistaken ..

i cant install it even via command.
plz help
it keeps telling me errors while processing etc.
