I didn't test it but I think you can put the package in hold to avoid automatic upgrades:
    Code:
    echo "hildon-desktop hold" | dpkg --set-selections

In the first post you can find the newest hildon-desktop from the CSSU git repo. Feel free to test it and post your feedback

Whoa. Can you provide us the changelog? Any additions to the transitions.ini file?

    No problems so far.
Just that CSSU config says CSSU is broken, guess that has to do with the no longer existing conflict when running upgrade with apt-get.

Now need to figure out how to use the blacklist, got some stuff to add

Thanks Arcean, I have installed it and don't seem to have any problems so far.

Toxaris - I noticed that in the new transitions.ini file there is a sample blacklist at the bottom. However, it didn't seem to work when I added a line based on the sample.

The other features which were in the video linked a while back were vertical desktop scrolling and locking the desktop in portrait mode. Are these possible with the new version?

Hey arcean, the latest .deb file works great, finaly no more -f install after apt-get update and apt-get upgrade

most of my apps are forced by CSSU but my desktop always stopped turning to portrait after -f install

also the faster app manager works again with the new .deb file, no more unmet dependencies

after dpkg -l hildon-desktop there is now version 1:2.2.142-14 installed and everything is working great

    thx very much

    To enable vertical scrolling:
    Code:
    gconftool-2 --set /apps/osso/hildon-desktop/scroll_vertical -t bool true
    killall hildon-desktop

Sorry but I have an other question.. I want to install it now. I did it through the terminal and it asks me now if i want to install the package maintainer's version, keep my currently-installed version (of transitions.ini), show the diferences between the version or backround this process to eximine the situation...
which one have i choose to?!
