When you reinstall, did you install any programs on top of your reinstallation? If so, name the programs that you installed.
Did you overclock your device before?
Have you subjected your device to damp environments or dropped your device before?

OP: I think you should reflash your phone and see if everything works after the reflash.
You can also install the CSSU Update after reflashing, it greatly improves the experience of the n900.
