A few weeks ago I noticed that, when choosing worldclocks from the clock app, the day always says monday. The date itself is correct.

Can someone confirm this, or is it a problem with my phone?

Thanks for testing. I was indeed referring to the replacement clock, that's why I posted the question here.

I will see if I can report a bug for this somewhere.

I have send a private message to CepiPerez and maybe he follows this thread regularly. Hopefully he picks it up.

Edit: I suspect the shortDayName function in world.ccp goes wrong...

Okay, I decided to fix the bug myself. Now the day is shown correctly in the worldclock part (instead of always displaying monday).

Get the modified executable here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/42147901/worldclock.zip

Will see if I can submit a patch for the official sourcecode...

Next to the little bug fix a small cosmetic change:
    - Although not in line with the stock clock, I replaced the name GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) by UTC (Universal Time Coordinated), which is a more commonly used term nowadays.
