Hello just wanna report I don't know how reproductable is this but.... Whenever I shutdown and boot up my device on portrait mode(switch off the device while on portrait position and switch on the device while still on portrait) my phone causes a reboot loop.

the 3 dot loading is ok the security code lock screen is ok but when it reaches hildon-desktop it blinks and fade a couple of times and then reboots. Anybody else can reproduce this?

    always in portrait mode??? WTH!!!!
do you know not all apps/program is not fully compatible with portrait mode??? still you want your device stay in portrait mode all the time???
if you do then you i suggest you solder/glue or throw away your hardware keyboard cause it will be useless if you want portrait mode always...

    Why blacklist, why not whitelist?
I need forced rotation only in few apps (in fact, only in FBReader), now i need to enable force rotation for everything and blacklist everything except apps i want to be rotated.
And i will need to update blacklist every time i install new program.
It's obvious what whitelist is better idea than blacklist.

I think having both blacklists and whitelists is an excellent idea.

Yeah but some said a few pages back that blacklist method did not worked well..;or not at all!
I too want to have fully portrait mode and only blacklist the application which does not fit in portrait!!!

    EDIT: what about vertical scrolling???

Please correct me if i'm wrong but isit blacklist & whitelist the same things????
blacklist is use to disable force rotation in same apps/program while whitelist is use to enable force rotation in same app/program....
if you puts some apps/program likes conversations in blacklist then it wont rotate even you enable force rotations right??? so if we dont puts conversations in whitelist then it wont rotate also right???
so why need whitelist when blacklist can do the same thing on the opposite way???

what ever apps/program you put in blacklist will not rotate so anything that is not listed in the blacklist will be force rotate...the same thing with whitelist...puts everything you want to force rotate & left the rest (as you listed in blacklist) & the result will be the same....

portrait lock would be nice and if we want landscape mode why not just slide the keyboard open?

pusak gaoq, did you even try to read my post?
    Code:
    ls /usr/share/applications/hildon | wc -l
    110
So i need to add ~100 apps to blacklist. But only one to whitelist.

Or one list acting as whitelst or blacklist depends on forced rotation enabling.
