Sociality is working now after i logout & login to my fb acct....

Help anyone? really wouldnt want to reflash my device!

Use the flasher to put the phone in R&D mode with disabled watchdogs.

    Code:
    flasher-3.5 --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset --enable-rd-mode -R
Then N900 will not reboot, connect to your network and to your N900 with SSH and switch portrait_wallpaper to false.

    Code:
    gconftool-2 --set /apps/osso/hildon-desktop/portrait_wallpaper -t bool false
Now put N900 back into production mode with flasher.

    Code:
    flasher-3.5 --disable-rd-mode -R

Hm, something strange happened after update. Did apt-get update & upgrade, a reboot after that and I have no theme & icons. The phone keeps rebooting, only works well in R&D mode. Desktop is black, I can only see the clock on pink background.

    Any idea what to do?

I opened the ccsu repo and closed all others

and then did apt-get update via xterm and then rebooted.

    worked and installed fine
