Also Meego 1.3 Testing image for N900CE rolled out today with Qt4.8.

Mentor Graphics is supplying Samsung with OS for all their dumb phones, all their Bada phones and tons of other stuff (TV, Stereo, car systems, whatever). Also stuff for component design, board design, hardware design and so on.

Now: GOOOOOOOOOGLE

I mean, you and danramos is the most lazy, boring, holier than though, negative couple on this board. A good advice: get a divorce - now!!

Not flaming or trying to offend, but if you have the time...
I'd like to know why you think it's a better option LT for Samsung than MeeGo.

Even if it really is technically superior right now....
Is that the only reason why you think it's better? Why?

Would it be feasible for Samsung to merge BADA with MeeGo?
Or do you think they'd never do that...

Samsung CEO has officially said that they need to focus on software/services/OS, the whole shabang, or ecosystems I guess the term is from end to end. With MG they get most of what they need to start, lots of expertise and know how from people that know Samsung and their products. With MeeGo what do they get? basically nothing more than a toy to tinker with. That's my opinion about the matter.

Don't they want to create a competing entity to Android, one that's truly vendor neutral, using MeeGo+Qt?
Or do they want something specialised, for only their hardware... ala Apple?
