install extra decoders from extra-devel repo , it works with mplayer, if you want gui then install KM player front end for mplayer

I just installed kmplayer and it worked like a charm.. it was my first thread ever and i got the answer to my silly problem within few hours.. thanks alot

personaly i prefer SiB for mplayer gui on n900
