I don't normally post smug, self-congratulating topics about how great what I've just done is, but you'll pardon me if this evening I make an exception. I decided some time ago I'd be keeping an N900 for some time, and last week, I bought a second-hand one off eBay with a view to keeping it as a spare.

It arrived today, and with what I've got for £135 delivered, I'm over the moon. Standard UK Vodafone issue, a month's usage on it, might as well be a brand new phone, in better condition than my current one, all the accessories, barely a scratch and the original Vodafone firmware still on it. I doubt it's been abused much - but it also came with a spare BL-5J battery and a spare back cover thrown in.

And now I've successfully cloned my old system onto it, with enough success that I think I'm sticking with the shiny new phone, and hopefully that will give me time to service the old one...
