    Dear All,

I tried to search before I post and the only solution I found is to reinstall microb, but this faild to solve the problem.

when I try to open any web site, the browser tries to connect but stay on the white screen for ever.

tryied to reboot, reinstall, killall, but still nothing.

    I'm on PR1.3 CSSU 16.8

last things installed was Horizontall Call, and QRadio.

it's not a network problem as firefox and mail and every other thing works fine.

    please help.

    Thank you.

When you refer to firefox and email, are you referring them when you use those programs outside N900? (i.e. you ran them on computer/laptop/etc). If so you might want to check /etc/resolv.conf entries in N900 to see if it has:
    Code:
    nameserver 127.0.0.1

Thanks, for your reply, but no, I'm talking about firefox and mail from within the N900 itself.

and I do can nslookup on names and domains.

    Thank you again.

and so Horizontal Call && QRadio were installed last before you had this microb issue? I'm guessing one of those programs would be the culprit then.

The other thing is that sometimes when certain program is installed, they have config file/s and those config file/s may still remain. I guess one way to see these (though you may see others as well) is by:
    Code:
    dpkg -l| grep -e '^[rc]'
Apart from that I really don't have much of other clue, it could be a really nasty case that one of those programs did make a change within microb and that change was not reversed when the program was removed.
