If it's saying browser not supported, then try a different browser (Firefox or Opera?)

Or change the "User Agent" string - there's an app for that...

It's not the phones fault...

That is network-specific and you'll need to seek help from T-mobile; fMMS can only process what the handset receives, and is not responsible for your operator sending you an SMS about a multimedia message that it's made available to you over HTTP.

For the more immediate problem, if the T-mobile website doesn't like MicroB, or even if it does, you'd do well to try Opera Mobile 11, fennec, or the many other browsers for N900 - and browser-switchboard will help you set the default. However, to get MMS on your phone, the first thing is that the operator needs to deliver it to your phone...

It should do, though I personally prefer latest Opera - it's faster.

You should contact T-Mobile and tell them your phone supports MMS receiving - they're the ones who at some point flagged your number as incapable of receiving MMS messages, which is why you're getting text messages telling you to go online to view it instead of the MMS itself.

That was the case with IL Orange till someone (zogg) contacted them, then they started allowing MMSs in for all N900s.

Some carriers will toggle your account independently if it sees an out-going MMS from your device. (It's sometimes an account setting, that the clerk will set if they think your device isn't MMS capable.) Once you setup fMMS properly (T-Mobil has different settings for different regions), send an MMS to a friend and see if that fixes it.

(It worked for a friend of mine on AT&T in the US not that long ago.)
