this is the thread from where i installed the hildon portrait mode... and yes, i have tried everything but the portrait mode is still there... someone in the end said i should reflash, but i don't and i can't... there are electricity issues where i reside, so i can't risk that bro

I'd go ahead and install the CSSU. It should overwrite, hopefully.

Post back in the CSSU wont apply though.

i read it in the faq's that you will need to uninstall the portrait mode first

I had the same problem, did it by X-Terminal
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
once i had to type Y to continue
rebooted and all went wel
now i have the latest version

i tried installing the cssu but it gave me an error sayin a package ''' limwildmidi0' is missing...i tried installing it but no result ...what now?

tried installing it but it stalled saying some limwildmidi0' was missing, tried installing it via terminal but nothing

did you try online here with your N900 and hit the green arrow "Install".
i googled limwildmidi0 but found nothing, did you spelled it correct?
