Hello,
Can anyone suggest/help me how i did this accidently on my N900, when I was editing my transitions.ini file and later opened catorise plus arranged some icons and "saved".. then When I opened the app-menu I got this...

That is the semi-transparent bar/background at the back of app-icons...?

p.s. I have CSSU, KP-48, Catorise Plus, Qtlockscreen, using digital nature theme, and harmattan icons.

Does this persist a reboot?

If yes, upload the transitions.ini.
If no, it's a rendering bug.

it works even after rebooting 3 times..
btw i checked by replacing with stock transitions and it still works..

now the question is how to enable it an how to get rid of it..(disable)..

no its not going/changing even after changing it to 0..

no it does change..i just tried it on my phone. :-/ !
are you changing the transitions in
usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini ?

and if you have applied a custom theme..then you have to change specifically for it.

thanks... it solved after a reboot...

but do you know how to expand it to both the corners of the screen... it would be awesone then...

If you want it to expand over the whole screen, you adjust the brightness and contrast settings to reproduce the effect. But beware:
Setting these settings in a wrong way may cause Hildon to crash.

Can you tell me how to extend that to both the ends but not full screen...

i.e. i want the same (in stripe format) but it should connect both end... (in order to cover the app names also... )
