Surprising as it may seem, I dropped the phone on the repair center yesterday and the guy didn't seem too negative. They are a subcontracted company and act as repair center for Samsung also. They told me it will be ready in a week so... holding my breath and keeping fingers crossed. If they have the parts, I believe they will do it. Otherwise, will try to source a speaker online and replace it myself. Or ask for an N9 as a replacement ... ...or a unicorn.
